Young Adults
Young Adults are valuable and important parts of our church! Our ministry to young adults is designed to engage college students and 20-somethings to equip them to follow Jesus better! At First NLR, our goal is to help develop life-long followers of Jesus! Every month there are powerful worship services, places to serve in ministry, classes to learn more about faith, and fun opportunities to connect with other young adults!
UNITE SERVICE
WEDNESDAY 7:00 PM
UNITE is our weekly service for young adults in the FirstNLR Chapel. We worship and learn together. Each week we spend time in God’s presence! Come join us.
Young Adult Connections Opportunities
At UNITE, we know you want to build a deeper relationship with God and with other young adults. We have multiple opportunities for you to do this each week:
Transitions Class
Sunday 10:00 AM in Room 214
Transitions is for young adults ages 18-21. We talk about following Jesus while moving from high school to college. Transitions is a great place to connect with others and grow.
Young Professionals Class
Sunday 10:00 AM in Room 206
Young Professionals (Yo Pros for short) is for young adults 22 and older. These years set up habits and patterns that guide you for the rest of your life. Each week we use the Bible to establish healthy life patterns. Yopros are married, single, military, graduate students, and those already in their careers. This diverse group of people are building great relationships.
Connect Groups
Connect groups happen throughout the month. These groups meet to hang out, build healthy relationships, and pray together. There are groups for girls, guys, and married couples. For more information contact Pastor Randy at rjumper@firstnr.com
